California YMCA Youth & Government prides itself in providing quality educational and civic engagement programs that offer youth with the following skills to help them transition and succeed with ease from high school through college graduation:

WHAT IS YOUTH & GOVERNMENT?
Youth and government is a national YMCA Program for students in the 9th-12th grade. The program enables young adults to prepare for post-high school opportunities via moral and political leadership through training in the theory and practice of developing public policy.
WHY JOIN YOUTH & GOVERNMENT?
Our delegates join Youth & Government because they want to work on becoming better public speakers, community, develop confidence, gain leadership skills, and have fun creating lifelong relationships with our other delegates.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A Y MEMBER?
All Youth and Government participants this year DO have to be members.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DELEGATIONS?
The YMCA of the Foothills has three delegations that participate in the same program, we just offer two different locations. This Y&G year we will be registering for our delegations. However, we will be meeting as the Foothills delegation.
WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE COVER?

Do I get a refund if I drop from the program? The payment will be split into 4 different payments. The payment can be split into 4 payments, the first payment will be considered a deposit. If financial assistance is needed, please email Chelsea (contact button below) for assistance and to personally get registered.
