“Today is the first blank page of a 365-page book; write a good one” – Brad Paisley.
Hello, YMCA of the Foothills Family!
I trust this note finds you healthy and happy on this first day of the new year. I don’t know how many country music fans we have among our Y members, but I think this quote by Brad Paisley really rings true about creating memories and experiences each day that help to write a wonderful “story” for your year. Whether you and your family celebrated Christmas, Hanukkah, or another Holiday tradition, I pray that it brought you positivity, hope for good things to come, and, most importantly, you felt loved.
In December, our Y was hard at work updating our facilities for our members to enjoy. The CCY project included modifying existing spaces to be more functional and user-friendly, brand new ergonomic strength equipment, new flooring, lighting, and a member lobby to create a more relaxing and engaging environment for all of you.
As the calendar flips to January, you can count on the Y to continue supporting our community wherever, whenever, and however we can. Our theme in 2025 is “Enriching the Lives of All,” as we are excited to continue serving our community every day, striving to be at the center of the community and create a sense of belonging for all people.
As we prepare our hearts and minds for 2025, the Y is committed to doing whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, to help our community grow and thrive once again—we know we can’t do it alone. Thank you for your unwavering support as members, participants, and donors, which helps us continue providing access to life-changing programs and services to every corner of our service area.
Below, you will find all the ways the YMCA of the Foothills will be “Enriching the Lives of All” in 2025. I look forward to seeing you all back at the Y in January and wish you all a Healthy and Joyful start to 2025.
Onward and Upward!
